TITLE:           "Surf Series #1"

COMMENTS: Have you ever walked out in the surf and waves and glanced up and down the beach in front of you and behind you? That simple gesture started me on a series of surf paintings in watercolors and acrylics. The nearly square shape of this canvas made for a compositional challenge, but the final effect of the surf seemingly streaming downward is unique.
