COMMENTS:
I've been eager to paint bright red flowers and finally started to do so. Maybe that's been my natural reaction to a long, gray winter. I love the color red, and red poppies every spring beckon me to paint the interesting shapes of these flowers. I painted on the edges where the staples attach the canvas to the stretcher bars so that the painting could be hung
without a frame. A frame, though, would add a special finishing touch to this happy piece of art.
