 COMMENTS: This original watercolor/ink painting depicts that stage in a foal's growth when the legs are still longer than the neck so he has to bend at the knees to reach comfortably the pasture grass! Although the subject of this painting was Rusty, the colt in another painting, this pose is so typical of the funny antics of all foals that this could be any other new foal, almost too cute for words.
