TITLE:           "Yellow Tulips"

MEDIUM:       Acrylic on watercolor paper

COMMENTS:  Painting these brilliant yellow tulips was so much fun. The image on a monitor screen doesn't show the nuances of colors, especially the orange colors in the flowers and the mauves in the background. Each year when the tulips start blooming I paint as speedily as I can to catch the colors before they fade. 

The painting is done on  watercolor paper and can be framed with or without a mat. A white mat would make the colors especially brilliant and make a larger size piece of fine art.
