COMMENTS: One day someone gave me a bouquet of sunflowers. I believe it was for my birthday. After I put them in a vase I saw so many possibilities for paintings and started right away to draw them from various angles. This is the second of a series of paintings in process from that one gift of sunflowers.

The wrapped canvas over wood stretcher bars eliminates the need for staples on the sides of the painting. I painted the edges and the painting can be displayed with or without a frame.
