TITLE:           "Red Tulips #2"

MEDIUM:       Acrylic on watercolor paper

SIZE:             12 x 9"

COMMENTS:  The brilliant reds in these tulips was the challenge of this painting. A monitor screen doesn't show the nuances of colors, especially the soft blue violets and sage greens in the background that set off the many reds in the blooms. 

The painting is done on  watercolor paper. A white mat would make the colors especially brilliant and make a larger size piece of fine art.
