TITLE:           "Swan Lake Oregon"

MEDIUM:       Oil on wrapped canvas

SIZE:             10 x 8 x 3/4"

COMMENTS: One day my brother and I viewed this vast land in the high desert country of southern Oregon from the high elevation of a neighbor's "mountain". The large lake and valley are named Swan Lake. We had some precious moments  together "tooling" around in his jeep on the ranch lands, just enjoying the colorful scenery and breathtaking views. Lots of juniper trees and sagebrush in that region cover the slopes of the hillside. At some places we had to carefully maneuver around the red brown boulders in the dirt road. This is the first in a series of paintings of this western rural landscape area.
