TITLE:           "Tulip Garden"

COMMENTS: The pink tulips from my neighbor Jean's garden provided the idea for this small watercolor. The bright sunlight on the smooth petals of the flowers contrasted with the texture of the ground and the dark hedge in the background. I was attempting to make this a "washy" painting rather than my usual more hard edge, realistic watercolor. I'm pleased with this one.

This small painting comes to you unframed. The size works well in a standard 8 x 10" mat.
