COMMENTS: When I am experimenting with different art materials I may repeat a basic image. This sunflower was painted in oil on smooth textured Fredrix archival canvas with the canvas wrapped to the back of the stretcher bars. 

The painting is ready to hang. Edges are painted as part of the imagery. A frame would be optional, based on your preference.
