ORIGINAL LANDSCAPE PAINTING

A colorful original landscape painting of a mountain stream in a southern Oregon forest depicts the bright sunlight breaking through the forest.  The idea for the painting originated from photos of fishing spots my brother and his wife, a fly fisherwoman, enjoy. There's nothing like fresh caught trout for dinner!

The composition contrasts the deep shadow areas with the grassy areas touched by the strong sunlight. The painting is full of rich green colors from yellow greens through blue greens. I painted the composition over an underpainting of bright greens. It is painted with acrylic paints on gessoed watercolor paper and measures 3 7/8 x 5 7/8 inches. 

It is varnished and ready for you to frame in a standard size frame. The painting comes to you unframed.
