ORIGINAL LANDSCAPE OIL PAINTING

A colorful original oil painting of a mountain lake in southern Oregon. This small landscape painting celebrates memories of summer fun at Lake of the Woods in the mountains of Oregon near the famous Crater Lake.
The water was perfect for swimming. Many times we enjoyed boating on the large lake. Mt. McLoughlin was in view from certain parts of the lake. The lodge was far across the lake where the evergreen trees didn't come down as far to the shoreline. I remember well getting caught once in a sudden storm in the middle of the lake while going over to the lodge!

I painted this memory composition on gessoed mat board with oil paints. This daily painting measures 5 by 7 (6 7/8 exactly) inches.
It is varnished and ready for you to frame in a standard size frame. The painting comes to you unframed.
